Carus is a German publishing company founded in 1972 by choral conductor Guenter Graulich and his wife. The company has become a leading publisher of sacred choral music worldwide with wonderful, critical editions of works by Bach, Brahms, Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Rheinberger, Schubert, and Schuetz to name only a few. The company is the winner of many prizes and also produces and distributes secular vocal music, instrumental music, CDs, and books. Below is a brief tour of the company from my Friday visit. Enjoy!
